    Francisco Cruzalegui is a seasoned supply chain professional with nearly two decades of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Logistic Operations, and Inventory Management. He has successfully led multi-million-dollar optimization projects across various industries and is passionate about integrating sustainability into supply chain practices. As a board member of Future Civics, Francisco's expertise aligns perfectly with the organization's mandate to empower and elevate rural and isolated communities by promoting sustainable and responsible economic practices that contribute to the well-being of communities and the environment.

    Jenny Edwards brings over a decade of professional marketing experience to Future Civics, with a background in home sustainability, agriculture technology, and beverage alcohol. Her work with organizations like BioNB, buildwithrise.com, and Climative has given her a deep understanding of the intersection between rural economic development and sustainable living. As a board member, Jenny leverages her expertise in content marketing, audience building, and demand generation to support Future Civics' mission of creating sustainable, inclusive communities.

  • Shekara Grant - Board Director

    Shekara Grant is the founder of the Weymouth Falls Community Land Trust, where she leads efforts in cultural preservation, affordable housing, Indigenous reconciliation, and climate resiliency in her historic Black Loyalist community. As an eighth-generation descendant of the Weymouth Falls settlement, Shekara is committed to preserving its 240-year legacy. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Sociology at Dalhousie University, focusing on African Nova Scotian culture and placemaking in rural communities. Her work directly aligns with Future Civics' mission to empower rural and isolated communities by fostering sustainable development and equitable growth through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions.
